At Brecknock Boat Services we are delighted to offer a range of services to boat owners and hirers whether you are an experienced Captain or just starting out for the first time.

RYA Training

The RYA has courses to cover all aspects of boating from personal watercraft and powerboating to international yachtmaster. At Brecknock Boat Services we specialise in Inland Waterway craft and the navigation of canals and rivers. The Inland Waterways Helmsman certificate is an internationally recognised qualification that forms the major part of the ICC International Certificate of Competence needed for European waterways. It is the perfect start to your new life or pastime on the rivers and canals. 

Boat Safety Scheme BSS

The Boat Safety Scheme works to protect everyone that uses the UK inland waterways. Your boat requires an examination every four years. We aim to make the process straightforward and easy to book.
